This place is amazing! The chicken biryani and the butter chicken are authentic. I like to go in... but delivery is a fast option too. Also, the chicken lollipops are a must try. They are cooked to perfection and sauce is great. Overall, i was and am impressed by the flavours this place has to offer.

Food was wonderful. We started with an amazing mango Lassi. My husband had the Dal and buttered Naan bread and both were delicious. I had spicy shrimp fried rice and it was fragrant and light. Basamati rice was cooked perfect. The hostess was sweet, kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Wonderful find not far from Ann Arbor in Ypsi! We were in suburban Ann Arbor on New Year's Day, feeling quite hungry, and not much was open. We did a Yelp search and decided to give Spice Palace a try! We were really happy with this decision as the food and service were equally wonderful! We started with delicious chilled mango lassi and were soon served delicately flaky Samosas with two delicious dipping sauces. Our main dish was a savory eggplant based dish over perfectly delectable basmati rice plus garlic naan that was light and flavorful! We left not only satisfied in every way but even had some leftovers to take home so we'll have a tasty snack to look forward to tomorrow!

We loved each of our dishes. The Samosa were probably the best that I've ever enjoyed, and I hang out with Indians and have been to India. The eggplant was smoky and paired beautifully with the garlic Nan. We also enjoyed the gently aromatic basmati rice: light, fluffy and delightful. Furthermore, the Bollywood entertainment was top notch on the big screen television. All in all their new location and kindness are not to be missed rarities. Ps the refrigerator mango lassi are delicious if you are hungry.

For a recent dinner with a friend, we decided to try out a new place for both of us. Shrimp Flavours fit the bill, and we headed on over. Located across from the EMU campus, it's Indian food in an unassuming building with a number of fun restaurants. We arrived on the earlier side for dinner and were able to order and pick a booth immediately. Our food was brought to the table a short time later, and my chicken Tikka Masala hit the spot. The portions were generous and I had enough left for lunch the next day. If you're thinking of visiting Shrimp Flavours, do yourself a favor and head on over! You may also find that it's a new favorite place for you, too.

Delicious meal here with a friend & her son! They were very attentive and understood that my friend needed no spice in her dishes for her son. We got the sesame gobi (yum), palak paneer (yay, her son liked it), and sampler dish of the coco and lemon herb shrimp, comes with a small side salad. I got a medium plus spicy chicken vindaloo (comes with rice) and garlic naan. We were happy with the flavor and consistency of the dishes (the dishes don't seem/have a lot of oil on top like most Indian places). I think I could've handled more spice in my dish but was overall glad with my meal! I would definitely come again and/or order carry out. This is a casual restaurant where you order and pay at the counter but then they bring the food out to your table. There is (some) free & pay at meter street parking right near the restaurant. Another wonderful place in Ypsi!
